Delete your account
Your Turtle Terminal account will be deleted, with nothing changed at your exchange.
Deleting your account removes it for good. It can't be undone.
Steps
- Go to your account page.
- Scroll to the bottom, to Delete account.
- Type your email to confirm.
- Choose Delete my account.
What is deleted
- Your rules and their history.
- Your journal, blocks and orders as Turtle Terminal recorded them.
- Your practice account.
- Your exchange connections. Turtle Terminal can no longer read or trade any of your accounts.
Records we're required to keep for record-keeping rules are held for that period, then deleted.
What happens to your subscription
It's cancelled at once. No further charges are taken.
What doesn't change
Nothing at your exchange. Your crypto, positions and open orders stay exactly where they are. If you created an API key or approved SnapTrade at your exchange, you can remove that access there too.
Before you delete
- Note anything from your journal you want to keep. It is deleted with the account.
- If you only want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead; your account and history stay.
- If you only want to stop Turtle Terminal using one exchange, disconnect it.
