There are 14 rules, grouped on the Rules screen as they are here. Every rule except the kill switch stops only orders that open or add to a position; closing is always allowed.
Kill switch
| Rule | What it does |
|---|
| Kill switch | Blocks every order, including closes, until you disarm it. Disarming takes the time you set. |
Losses
| Rule | What it does |
|---|
| Daily loss limit | Pauses new positions when today's loss reaches your limit, for the time you set. |
| Weekly loss limit | Pauses new positions when the last seven days' realised loss reaches your limit. |
Size
| Rule | What it does |
|---|
| Max position size | Caps how much of your account one pair can be. |
| Max gross exposure | Caps all your positions together, long plus short, as a share of your account. |
| Max leverage | Caps exposure as a multiple of your account. Margin accounts only. |
| Buying power buffer | Keeps a share of your account available to spend after every trade. |
| Category concentration | Caps one crypto category, such as Layer 1 or DeFi, as a share of your account. |
| Correlation cap | Blocks a buy that moves too closely with something you already hold. |
Habits
| Rule | What it does |
|---|
| Loss streak cooldown | Pauses new positions after a number of losing closes in a row. |
| Re-entry lock | Blocks buying a pair again right after you closed it at a loss. |
| Trade frequency | Caps how many orders you place in any hour. |
| Daily reset guard | Keeps you from opening positions in the minutes around 00:00 UTC. |
Order checks
| Rule | What it does |
|---|
| Order sanity | Catches typing mistakes: an order above a set value, or a limit or stop price too far from the last price. |
Waiting for data
Correlation cap needs price history and Category concentration needs category data. Until that data exists for what you hold, they show Waiting for data and don't stop anything. Max leverage needs the margin figures your exchange reports.
Each rule's sheet on the Rules screen explains it with a worked example.
