Connect Binance

Your Binance account will be connected to the terminal, for spot and margin trading.

Binance connects through SnapTrade, like every exchange. You need a Binance account you can log in to.

Steps

  1. In the terminal, open the account menu and choose Connect.
  2. Choose Binance. SnapTrade's window opens on Binance.
  3. Log in to Binance and approve the connection.
  4. If you are asked for an API key instead, follow the steps below, then paste the key in SnapTrade's window.
  5. Back in Turtle Terminal, your Binance account imports on its own.

If Binance asks for an API key

  1. At Binance, open your account menu and find API Management.
  2. Create a new key.
  3. Allow reading, and allow spot trading. Allow margin trading too if you trade on margin.
  4. Leave withdrawals off. Turtle Terminal never needs them.
  5. Copy the key and its secret into SnapTrade's window. Binance shows the secret only once.

You can delete the key at Binance at any time; that disconnects the account.

What you can trade

Spot and margin pairs. Futures and options aren't supported.

Where you live matters

Binance runs different services in different countries, and Binance.com doesn't serve every region, including the United States. Connect the Binance account you trade on. Availability depends on your exchange and where you live.
